	My trip to Hokkaido Tammie #C2 speech Hokkaido, the island located on the northern end of Japan is surrounded by the Sea of Japan, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the Pacific Ocean. It accounts for 22% of the area in Japan. There are numerous mountains and volcanic plateaus in the center of the island and also coastal plains in all directions.
