District Library Borrow Regulation

     
Purpose:
  The purpose of the District Library is to offer the members more resources of Toastmasters educational materials, which in turn ensure more members will better fulfill their communication & leadership skills through the library.
     
Regulations:
  A. Club Borrow Window:
    Please borrow the materials via club VPE or his/her deputy. VPE will know better the resources in the club and make better use of materials in the library as they are limited.
  B. Processes to Borrow:
    1. Check the Borrowing State:
      The borrowing state of all materials will be updated on the WEB weekly for reference. Please check if it's available from stock first.
    2. To Register:
      a. Via WEB registration: Fill the application form including your needed information – Club name, Borrower's name, TEL/Email and mailing address (if via shipping), Material's title/item number, Borrow starting/end date, Ways to borrow (Visit the library by yourself – indicate which date to visit OR via shipping way). Then send out the form.
      b. Via Email registration: Also indicate the above information and send to Adrianne Bee (ab131425@ms21.hinet.net) and cc to Athena Lien (athena@flyingclub.com.tw).
      When your form reached the library committee, the committee member will follow up for your borrowing.
    3. Ways to Borrow:
      a. Visit the library at Flying à fill the borrowing card
      b. In shipping way - in this case, the freight for delivery (to and fro) will be paid by members.
         
  C. Quantity to Borrow:
    It's only allowed to borrow one set each time and the time limit is one week from the receipt to return.
  D. The borrowing take effect from the date of announcement of this regulation.
 
Library Update:
  1. The existing materials from the library are for the general items for the time being. To meet members' demand, library committee will continue to update the new materials of library.
  2. When there is new materials club VPEs suggest to add, please send to Bright Huang (bright_hu@hotmail.com). He will collect related information and report to committee and District Governor for further approval.

I
t's highly recommended that each club may have its own training materials for“The successful Club Series” and “The Better Speaker Series” as they are most commonly needed.
  3. All library committees will meet at Flying periodically for the maintenance of library.
