Who is your role model? Whom are you looking up to? It is my belief that a leader practices leading with a vision, integrity, and by an example. What about you? To complete the year 2003-2004, I would like to invite you all to give a thought upon the above questions and participate to select –
Toastmaster of the Year The attached forms contain checklist system that our District will use in selecting those role models. We will recognize those whose dedication, commitment, and effort make a significant contribution toward achieving the Mission of the District. * Categories in selecting Toastmaster of the Year – Membership Building and Retention; Club Extension; Education and Training; PR; Leadership; Commitment to and support of Toastmasters International Activities. * Categories in selecting Area Governor of the Year – Distinguished Area/Goal Achievement; Membership Building and Retention; Club Extension; Area Club Performance; DCP; Education and Training Leadership; Commitment and Support; and PR. * Categories in selecting Division Governor of the Year – Distinguished Division/Goal Achievement; Membership Building and Retention; Club Extension; DCP; Education and Training Leadership; Commitment and Support; and PR. Please make a check on the list and give your candidates to your Area Governors, and please Area Governors select one candidate to your Division Governor, finally please each Division Governor submit the 3 candidates – TM/Area Gov. / Div. Gov (including yourself being the Div. Gov. of the year candidate) to me, George Yen and Dick Fu by July 20, 2004. We will announce the Winners at the Open House Reception on the evening of July 25.
