What Toastmasters can do for YOU
As your improved communication skills become obvious within the workplace, increased visibility, recognition and promotion will follow. As a Toastmaster you will acquire an increased ability to motivate and persuade, making you more effective as a leader.

Your improved presentation skills will win you respect and admiration of your colleagues and employees. Members of Toastmasters clubs have access to a wide variety of educational materials and training workshops.

How you learn
Toastmasters is a learning by doing program. You learn from participating in each meeting. At a typical club meeting, you'll learn to master:

  • Prepared speeches: practice presentation skills including content,body language, vocal variety.
  • Impromptu speaking: learn to think on your feet.
  • Running a meeting: a critical asset in any business/organization.
  • Evaluations: provide and receive effective, constructive feedback.

How you progress
Once you become a Toastmaster, you will receive the Communication and Leadership Manual. Deliver speeches according to the manual instruction, and when you complete 10 speeches you will be certified as a Competent Toastmaster (CTM). You can move on by delivering more speeches and becoming an ATM (Advanced Toastmaster-Bronze, silver than Gold), DTM (Distinguished Toastmasters). You can also conduct Success /Leadership training programs and serve as an officer to enhance your leadership skills.
